Financial Consultant

Job Summary

The Financial Consultant is responsible for supporting the corporate business functions and the franchisees by analyzing, managing and aligning business related financial data and KPI measurements. He/She provides proactive, clear and actionable recommendations and alternatives to both corporate functions and franchise owners. The Financial Consultant reports to the US Corporate Controller. More specifically the Financial Consultant is responsible for:

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide network related financial analysis to the Network Sales and Operations Team and Franchise owners
  • Provide bookkeeping, accounting and finance training to franchisees (during new franchisee training and ongoing)
  • Cover a range of financial support topics including financial analysis, POS reporting, pricing improvements, vendor revenue reporting, vendor invoicing, and sales reporting to corporate
  • Manage ongoing point-of-sale inventory maintenance and improvements
  • Manage shipping pricing maintenance and improvements
  • Assist new franchisees with preparing business plans and seeking funding
  • Assist with various projects dealing with analysis and ad hoc reporting
  • Conduct field visits when necessary
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
  • QuickBooks Certification Preferred
  • Three to five years relevant industry experience with strong project management skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Experience in QuickBooks Online
  • Customer service-minded with ability to positively manage and influence internal/external stakeholders and build productive relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptionally detail oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize, self-manage and meet deadlines
  • Positive, can-do attitude; flexibility, adaptability, and business acumen
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter that gets excited about rolling up their sleeves and proactively solving problems
  • Proficient with Windows operating systems, Google Suite, project management systems, and related applications

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional open-space office environment. The job requires an individual to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers.

Job position is based in Lakewood, CO.

This is a full-time position working standard business hours. This position may require the flexibility to work diverse schedules.
